I don't usually love hot dogs, but Pink's Hot Dogs has changed my mind. I particularly enjoyed their outdoor back patio, where you can relax while savoring a chili hot dog. The chili is excellent, and they offer a variety of toppings like onion rings, fries, and bacon, which add a unique touch to the hot dogs. I got the chili hot dog, and every bite was delicious, a distinct experience for someone who grew up in Asia. My friend and I also tried the bacon cheese fries, which were very good, though a bit greasy for my taste. If you're not dieting, they're definitely worth trying. The inside of the place is fun, with celebrity photos adorning the walls, showing how much they love the hot dogs too. The workers are friendly and efficient, so even if there's a long queue, it's definitely worth the wait.

"A Hollywood Legend Since 1939" Standing in line at Pink's in a rite of passage of sorts for those seeking a quintessential LA hot dog. It doesn't get more LA than a Pink's Hot Dog. Make sure you clear you calendar because there's a long line no matter what time of day. There's free parking in the parking lot and metered parking out front. We waited approximately 1 hour. Well, I waited and the wife and family waited in the car. What we ordered: -Lord of the Rings Dog -Bacon Burrito Dog -Pink's Famous Chili Dog -LA Street Dog The line may be long, but it moves real fast. They are very efficient working the line and getting you out the door. I personally liked all the hot dogs. I was surprised how much I like the Bacon Burrito. I originally got it for my son. He didn't like it. So I ended up eating this one quite a bit. I liked the LA Street Dog the most as the Jalapeños give it a nice spicy kick to the dog. The Pink's Famous Chili Dog was also very good as I'm a fan of Chili Dogs. The one I liked the least was the Lord of the Rings Dog. It was not bad, but wasn't my favorite. I finally checked Pink's off my LA Eating Bucket List. I will definitely come back for these delicious dogs.

Fun hot dogs. Iconic. Don't let the long lines discourage you. They move fast and the people in line are friendly. You can have a dog any way you want and the menu had suggestions on ideas you never thought of. The cooks and people behind the counter are all friendly and it's amazing how they remember every order.

Pinks is by now a national landmark. If you're in LA and or near the Hollywood area it's a must try. Is it touristy? Absolutely and that's ok. There are lots of hot dog combinations to choose from and all of them will ruin your diets, but it's worth it. I went with a satisfying chili cheese dog and a Mexican Coke. The perfect combo for summer night. The service is polite and punctual. I recommend you have your mind made up before you place your order, it will speed up the process greatly. Overall, it's a great spot to try if you're from out of town or out of area within LA county. The staff busts their asses to get your food out fast and as before mentioned the quality is solid so please tip accordingly. Pro Tip: if you can...swing by on a week night when it's less crowded. Cheers!
